It was another great day for CNW yesterday.
CNW remains in 8th place (of 25)in the team classification.
Yesterday was a long slog of 115km from Val D’Or to Rouyn-Noranda into a moderate headwind.
The finish circuit continues to prove to be a major challenge (7 turns in the 3.7km circuit). It is fast and furious and crashes take their toll. Yesterday Gavin Cole were both affected yesterday (neither hurt).
Andrew Doble is doing a phenomenal job of keeping the bikes running perfectly. Multiple spoke changes and shifter/brake adjustments. I can’t say enough about how great it is to have him as our mechanic.
Today is the ITT in the morning and then a shorter road race of 52km in the afternoon. Weather may play a factor with heavy winds and rain forecast.
