General
- The goal of the formal wave starts is to maintain a high standard of safety by starting riders of like ability together in smaller groups
- Each wave will be limited in size and will have between three (3) to five (5) minute spacing.
- Please reference the guidelines below to determine which wave you are best suited for prior to registration

- Wave 3 – Projected Average 28-33km/hr. Suited for the rider that wants a more relaxed rollout at the start while at the same time testing themselves against other riders in a timed event.
- Wave 4 – Projected Average under 27km/hr. Suited for the rider that wants to experience one of Ontario’s best tours with a safe rollout and a relaxed pace all throughout the ride.

NEW Registration Options!
Based on feedback provided from past year’s events, Centurion is proud to introduce a variety of flexible ways that you can tailor your registration choices to meet YOUR needs.
Firstly, is the option to select a timed “Race” wave or an untimed “Tour” wave. That allows for a high margin of safety at the start and keeps groups of like ability together. If you select one of the untimed “Tour” waves, we are happy to pass-on some savings to YOU!

Registration and Packet Pick-Up
Registration and packet pick up will be on-site on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Please see the Event Schedule for specific times. Onsite registration is also available for those who have not pre-registered. Registration Packets will include your bib and bike numbers…the larger number goes on the back of your jersey and the bike plate goes on the front of your bike using the twist ties.
All riders must pick up their own Event Packets and will be required to show a photo ID and sign a Centurion Event Release Form (available at packet pick-up) and OCA waiver to receive their Centurion Race Packet.
Age-Group Award Categories – Timed Waves ONLY
For the 120km timed “Race” Waves, awards will be given-out to the top three men and women aged 16-19 and then in five (5) year age-groups (e.g. 20-24, 25-29, etc.) up to 80+
For the 80km timed “Race” Waves, awards will be given-out to the top three men and women aged 14-15, 16-19 and then in five (5) year age-groups (e.g. 20-24, 25-29, etc.) up to 80+
For the 40km timed “Race” Waves, awards will be given-out to the top three men and women aged 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17-19 and then in five (5) year age-groups (e.g. 20-24, 25-29, etc.) up to 80+
For the True Grit 65km timed “Race” Waves, awards will be given-out to the top three men and women aged 14-15, 16-19 and then in ten (10) year age-groups (e.g. 20-29, 30-39, etc.) up to 80+
For the True Grit 40km timed “Race” Waves, awards will be given-out to the top three men and women aged 11-14, 15-16, 17-19 and then in ten (10) year age-groups (e.g. 20-29, 30-39, etc.) up to 80+
Please note that posted results will reflect both your gun time and chip time. Age group awards are based on gun time (i.e. the first person across the finish line wins).
What if I want to change or transfer distances?
If you have already registered for a given distance and would like to change to another distance please contact the MultiSport Canada offices via email at info@multisportcanada.com or by phone at (705) 797-4951.
For ALL transfers, please note:
- There will be a $10.00 administrative fee for changes made up to Four (4) weeks prior.
- There will be a $20.00 administrative fee for changes made up to Two (2) weeks prior.
- There will be no changes after Monday at 9:00AM before an Event Weekend.
- If there is a difference in fees you will have to pay the difference plus the applicable admin fee.
Distance Upgrade or Downgrade
If you would like to Upgrade or Downgrade your distance for a pre-registered race, please call our office.
For ALL changes, please note:
- Upgrades: the participant pays the current fee structure difference, plus HST, plus the Standard Transaction fee
- Downgrades: there are no fees or refunds for a participant Downgrade
- There will be no changes after Monday at 9:00 AM before an Event Weekend
Person to Person Race Transfers
Participants may transfer their entry to another participant, but ONLY by calling our office to make the transfer.
For ANY Transfer, please note:
- There is a $20.00 flat fee (includes $5 transaction fee) for transfers.
- There will be no transfers after Monday at 9:00AM before an Event Weekend.
Refund Policy
Our refund policies were designed to be fair to everyone. Unfortunately, refunds will only be granted for medical reasons ONLY.
For any MEDICAL-related refund, please note:
- Up to 75% of your entry refunded four (4) weeks prior to an Event Weekend
- Up to 25% of your entry can be refunded up to two (2) weeks prior to an Event Weekend
- There will be no refunds for any reason within two (2) weeks of any Event
- Participants are refunded the listed percentage of their entry fee, plus HST, less the Standard Transaction Fee
